Gram came to stay at our house with the kids while we were in Chicago. Aunt Becki came from Tuesday to Friday to help out and get the numbers more even. When you're not used to taking care of our two rascals it can be tiring! I'm not sure who enjoyed the time more, though, the kids or the adults! It was a hot weekend, so they spent a lot of time in the sprinkler in the backyard and loved it, went to the zoo one day, made bird baths with hand and foot prints, rode the carousal at the mall, and ate out a few times (a treat since we hardly ever eat out). It was none stop stories when we got back. I loved hearing all of them and it made me proud that even though Mama and Papa weren't around things went on as they normally do, a few screams and arguments, but for the most part the kids behaved. Gram and Aunt Becki did an awesome job making sure everything was taken care of including administering the medication Isaiah was on that week (eye drops for pink eye 4x day and antibiotics for an infection 3x day, all diagnosed 3 days before our trip!)

I think you're right about who having more fun the kids or the adults. The day at the zoo was one of my all time favorite times, we were able to meet up with my friend Amanda and her two little ones (which aren't little anymore). Ash and Gus are right around the same age. Gus was born the March after Ashley was. Thank you again for my birthday dinner and for taking the much needs trip that allowed me to bond even more with those precious kiddos.
