Halloween

What a fun day! We started off at a Halloween Party for members at the Children's Museum with our friends Dania and Jolene. They had a scavenger hunt, pumpkin carving demonstration, a bubble lab, puppet show and the usual fun stuff they always have. Then after dinner our neighbors invited us to their church for a Harvest Party. They had a ton of games for the kids and it was indoors! Halloween night was a chilly one, but no rain! When we got home around 8:00, we let Ashley stay up and hand out candy. She loved it and did a great job! She waited patiently by the window and each time someone walked up the sidewalk she yelled "Papa, they're coming!!!!". She quickly picked up the big bowl of candy and somehow managed to open the door without spilling. She did this all by herself while Brian watched in the background. She gave huge handfuls of candy so it didn't last long, but that was ok since she needed to go to bed. The kids appreciated it, though!

It is so hard to get him to smile! At least I got him to look into the camera instead of running away!
