We had heard about safety town from friends and neighbors so we decided to get Ashley signed up this year since it's only open to 4, 5 and 6 year olds. I arranged my schedule the first week and Steph came to help out the 2nd week (which we were so grateful for). The class was for 2 hours in morning for 2 weeks, which isn't very convenient for working parents. I highly recommend it for anyone interested, though, Ashley learned so much and had a blast. I think her favorite day was fire safety where a fire truck came that they could climb in and Ashley even got to spray the hose (with help of the firefighter of course!). A fire safety trailer also came that filled with smoke so the kids could learn how to safety get out. I think simulating a real life situation teaches them so much more and leaves such an impression. They also learned about water/boat safety as well as bike, pedestrian, home, animal, electrical, and stranger danger. She couldn't wait to teach Isaiah what she learned each day. They also sent home a letter with the parents explaining what they did each day, so we could ask questions and find out about what they were learning. It was a really good experience.

| They have cars assigned to each kid that they get to ride around town and test their safety skills |
