Christmas Lights

Monday night we ate dinner early, got the kids in their pajamas and decided to take a drive to see Christmas lights. The plan was to just see Peacock Lane, a block of houses that requires each home owner to decorate for Christmas, but it was still early and Brian wanted to go to Portland International Raceway for their Winter Wonderland as well. We went a few years ago when Ashley was 2 and decided to do it again. We let the kids come up front with us and Ashley drove part of the way, she decided to stop because she couldn't concentrate on driving while looking at the lights and that wasn't safe. That's our safety coordinator! They have lights displayed around the whole track and you drive through it. At the end they have the "12 days of Cristmas". They do a great job and it doesn't matter if it's raining!
