Isaiah Andrew, you are such a super cool kid. You have matured a lot in the last year and we get a lot of compliments on how well you're behaved. You tough things out a lot better and use your words instead of your emotions when things get difficult. You are so much fun to be around, always goofing around, being silly. I attribute most of that to spending time with your Papa! You guys are two peas in a pod and are so similar in personalities. You love to wrestle and get thrown around by him, which has gotten you a lot stronger trying to fight back! You are also very sweet and loving and I adore my cuddles and kisses that I get from you, especially when we snuggle in with a warm blanket and read books. You love music and turn on your stereo when you're in your room playing or getting ready for the day. You know a lot of country songs and one of your favorites is "Drink To That All Night" by Jerrod Nieman. You and Papa yell out the part "checkin' out the ladies", but you say "chicken like a lady". It's so cute. Because of your love for music Papa wanted you to start a music class, so we have you signed up at the community music center. It's a year long class and you've been enjoying that, especially when you get to play the drums. You really wanted to be in a class where they sing into a microphone, but I couldn't find any for your age group, so we got you one for your birthday and you were super excited about that. You started a baseball class again and have really gotten into it, wanting to practice at home. Your hand eye coordination has gotten a lot better and it's fun to play catch. You're also really enjoying basketball and even though the hoop is way too high for you, you've gotten stronger and are able to get a few shots in. We got a hoop from our neighbor, so it's a little tall, but you'll grow into it fast! Almost all of your pants have holes or are worn at the knee because you love to get down on them and play with your cars and trucks as well as slide in the gym! You put voices to the guys that drive your trucks and I love hearing your creativity of where they go and what they say. Your in your own world and play really well on your own. Now that Ashley has started school, we've had a lot of time together just you and I. I try not to spend all the time running errands with you, so we split it up and do fun stuff as well as gets our lists completed. You're a great help at the grocery store and get the bags ready and help put the groceries in. We go for a lot of walks when the weather is nice and you either ride your bike or scooter. You do like to walk Brody too, so sometimes we leave those at home. You are still a really good sleeper and take a nap in the afternoon for about an hour. You're an early riser, though, and that might be why. You get enough sleep and your body is ready to go at 6am! Since your sister is also an early riser, you two let Mommy sleep and entertain each other downstairs. Some of your favorite things to do together are color, play school, and card games like Uno, War,and Old Maid. We got you a little card holder since your hands are still a little small to hold all those cards and that helps a lot! You are 3'4" (49%) and 33lbs (26%), although growing like a weed. I look forward to you learning to ride a bike this year, swim more, and start to read! You'll be in Kindergarten soon and have already shown a lot of interest in reading. You memorized "Sputter, Sputter, Sput" and are eager to learn more! Last but not least, you finally got gum when you turned 5. That was when Ashley first got gum, so we had you wait as well (although you did have a few 1/2 pieces before this), but you were super excited to finally feel like such a big kid with a huge privelege! I love you to pieces and feel so blessed to have you as my son!
