Arizona!
We've been talking about taking a trip to Arizona to see my grandparents and the Grand Canyon for a few years and finally decided this was going to be the year. We planned the trip around Isaiah's 2nd birthday so we could cash in on one more free ticket for him, but also to see some sunshine in the midst of all this rain we've been getting! We left Jan 8th for a week. Grammy was very generous giving up her sleep and took us the the airport at 5:30am for our flight to Tuscon, connecting in Seattle. The agent who checked us in was extremely helpful and gave us 4 seats all together since it wasn't full. It was a very nice way to start the trip and made the flight enjoyable for everyone! The kids did great, a few new toys + lots of snacks = two very well behaved little munchkins!

Emily and I have had the opportunities to travel many places around the country and even the world. This vacation however, was one of my favorite. Traveling with the whole family and creating so many memories was truly a wonderful experience. We had a blast and enjoyed our time so very much.
We look forward to many more trips like this in the future.
Thank you Emily for documenting all of these memories on our blog. I love looking back at these entries.
