Gram

Gram decided to come visit us for her Spring Break last week. We had so much fun with her as always when she comes to visit. She got here Tuesday which was a gorgeous day, so we took a long walk to the grocery store and the park. The rest of the week was off and on sunshine and rain, typical Oregon weather! We played with bubbles, read lots of books, went to a toy store where Ashley had fun playing with the shopping cart and babies, and spent a morning feeding the ducks at Cook park. That was a really fun day and Ashley loved it! There were a ton of ducks and she got right in there to feed them all. She even picked out certain ones that she wanted to give the bread to. I was shocked to see her so brave. You could tell those ducks get fed a lot because they weren't too scared of her and almost took the bread right from her hand!





Just Chillin

We decided to check out the dock and all the ducks followed us over there, so we fed them in the water. Ashley was fearless about this one too and you can see in the picture I've got a pretty good hold on her jacket so she didn't fall in. One of the ducks actually flew up and flapped it's wings in her hair to get the bread in her hand. This did scare her, she was almost in tears but we made sure to quickly make light of it and told her the duck wanted to give her a kiss. Her reply... "silly duck, you can't kiss me!"
