Happy Easter!

We had a very special Easter this year that included Isaiah's baptism. Gram came into town from Pendleton on Thursday night after work and Aunt Becki came on Friday. Great Grandma flew in from Arizona on Thursday and Danielle and Hani drove down from Seattle on Sunday, so we had a lot of loved one's there to celebrate with us! Friday night my parents hosted a fish fry, which was both really fun and delicious. Isaiah was on his best behavior all weekend and it was great to see my grandma with the kids, my grandpa wasn't able to make it since it's really hard on him to travel. He broke his hip the last time he was up here and hasn't fully recovered. Friday night Ashley spent the night over at Grammy's so they could take her to an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday morning. We got her back that afternoon and Aunt Becki made Easter Egg jello molds with her. She wasn't a big fan of jello before Aunt Becki arrived, but she got her to like it and even put some out for the Easter bunny along with some carrots. Sunday morning the Easter bunny left clues to where her basket was hidden so we went on a hunt for that, which was really fun and a tradition we hope to do every year. Church was a 11am and the baptism followed. The church was packed and ended up going longer than expected so the baptism was at about 1:30pm. By then Isaiah was really tired, he held up well but I was glad that it was an intimate ceremony with one other baby, which ended up being our family friends. Denny and Rachael baptized their little girl Audrey the same day. They're only two weeks apart. After the baptism we went to my parents house where they hosted a brunch. The whole weekend was so much fun, but I was exhausted by Sunday night and we all went to bed early.

This is our family friend Rachael with her little girl Audrey who was born 2 weeks after Isaiah. She was baptized on the same day.

Mom's talent shows off again with her decorations on the table. She wrapped Easter eggs filled with candies into the napkins and gave the girls candle holders on each of our plates.
