Fam Jam Puddle Huddle became the official name of our annual camping trip this weekend. The last three years in a row it has rained on us, so my Dad came up with the clever name Puddle Huddle and well Fam Jam is just what we do. We were rockin' out to music all weekend. So, this year we camped at Mayfield Lake from July 24th-27th. We had great weather Friday and Saturday and were able to get out on the boat and do some serious water skiing and tubing, but it rained Saturday night so all of our stuff was nice and wet and dirty when we packed up. Oh, well I guess we've come to expect it now that it's happened three years in a row. Ashley loved camping, but driving the boat with Grandpa Lewis was her favorite. We got a life jacket for her before we left and she didn't seem to mind it too much despite the fact that it covered half of her face! She drove us on a cruise Saturday up the river, but had to get out when mom and dad skied. It was a little too fast and bumpy for such a little girl, but Grandma Timm was happy to watch her on shore. Brian made a Poor Man's Golf game that we played during the day, which was a ton of fun. Can't have a family weekend without some competitve sports! Ashley cut her first tooth this weekend and enjoyed eating big girl food in her high chair. We've been using her Bumbo to feed her up until now, but I think it's time for something a little more sturdy. She loved the high chair that Grandma Timm brought for her, I think we'll be shopping for one this week.

These pictures are great to say the least. Did we ever have a good time. Ashley looks great behind the wheel of the boat. It was a wonderful time had by all. Here's to Fam Jam Puddle Huddle. The tubing was really fun and yes I'll do it again next year.
WHOO HOO for the Fam Jam Puddle Huddle. Can't wait for next year. We're going to make sure the calendar is clear for next year. Can't wait to see Grandma Hey go tubin again. We love you and miss you lots. Hugs and kisses.
I like the idea you had, Em, of adding another day to our trip next yr. Grambo will need that extra day to teach Ashley to water ski and to convience Grandpa Timm to go tubing with Grandma Hey.
Ashley, you were an absolute angel and we were all very proud of our little camper girl. Grammy was particularly proud of herself for finding your first tooth.
