Ashley's Baptism
Ashley got baptized on Easter Sunday along with 2 other babies. Her baptismal dress was the one my mom and I both got baptized in, so it was really special that she was able to wear it. She really liked putting the dress in her mouth though, and we had to distract her with her binky so she wouldn't be the last one to wear the dress because she ate a hole in it! After the baptism we had brunch at Portage Bay restaurant where we had a reservation for 20. It meant so much to have everyone there to celebrate her baptism with us. She did so well all day. She slept for about 20 minutes when we got to the restaurant, but she was up and happy the rest of the time and got to visit with everyone as she was passed around. She was a tired little girl by the end of the day and slept 12 hours that night from all the excitement. Most everyone left on Sunday, but Brian's family stayed until Tuesday. Sunday night Becki stayed the night with us. It was great to visit with her and catch up. She lives in Coos Bay, OR and we hadn't seen her since Thanksgiving. I took Brian's mom to PEPS on Monday and she loved seeing all the babies and meeting all the mom's. We also took Ashley to see Horton Hears a Who and she absolutely loved it. It was a riot seeing her so interested in the movie, all the colors and sounds. She watched the whole thing without a fuss. I think she's going to be a movie buff like her Uncle Dan.

My mom bought this outfit for her for Christmas, but since she was always bundled up when she was younger I decided to get a bigger size and she finally wore it for Easter. The outfit was adorable and she looked so cute in it

Dan looks much more comfortable with her now that she is getting bigger. She fits perfectly in his big arms.
You all look so beautiful. Especially little Ashley. What a beaufitul baptism dress.
